"I have found my new FOREVER pool company. During my search for a local family-owned pool company to recondition my pool, I was referred to Low Tide Pool Co. Bobby and Doug (owners), were fully involved throughout each step, and their crews were not only respectful, but they were thorough, and cleaned up after each visit. My first interaction with Bobby was at the tile place to choose pebbletec and tile. This was our first time, so we didn't know what to expect. Our pool is the original plaster pool from 1995, and we were sure we'd be paying out the wazoo for this reconditioning....I was completely wrong...Bobby led us through our choices and even threw in free options. He didn't try to upsell, or convince us, no matter how new we were to this process. We instantly trusted him. Doug came over during the unveiling of the pebbletec, and looked at our filter and pop-up system and suggested a few improvements, but didn’t pressure...he instead explained the difference between the new fangled systems and our plain Jane sand filter. He commended us on its simplicity and encouraged a sand change, which would lead to better filtration, and there were other parts within the sand filter that were clearly broken...and why the sand has been shooting into our pool for years. This doesn't sound profound, until you realize I had this other pool company for 12 years and they never explained any of this to me. To say we were impressed with the final product, is an understatement. I'm loyal to a fault, sometimes and why I've never changed pool service in 12 years, but after this experience, Bobby and Doug have earned our business. They even threw in a free month of service, and assured us, they would take good care of us moving forward. I would support these guys over any of the big companies, mostly because they took the time to talk to us and really understand our needs, instead of telling us what we needed and expecting us to follow along......zero pressure. There's something to be said about family-owned business. You won't regret your decision if you call these guys, and you'll never go anywhere else, once you hire them. The main reason I chose them was because of a review I saw where a woman posted a picture of the service person treating her dog so well and being that I am a huge animal lover, I felt that was a good sign.
